What does the Website Database API return?

The API responds with a direct ZIP file download containing a CSV with that day's website business records. Each row includes domain, business emails, phone numbers, company name, technology stack, social media URLs, country, language, IP address, hosting provider, SSL status, and WHOIS registration date.

How fresh is the data?

The daily file is generated at 6:00 AM IST each day from the previous day's web crawl. Using the API you can also access any of the last 4 days by adding the date parameter.

Can I filter by technology or country via the API?

The API delivers the full daily file. Filtering by technology, country, or other attributes is done in your own data pipeline - load the CSV into pandas, SQL, or your preferred tool and filter from there.

Is this GDPR compliant?

Data is extracted from publicly visible website pages. B2B outreach to business contact emails listed publicly on company websites can be compliant under a legitimate interest basis. You are responsible for your own outreach practices. Review our Anti-Spam Policy for guidance.

How do I get an API key?

Subscribe to any plan that includes API access for the Website Database. Your API key is generated instantly and shown on the API Documentation page. One key works for all product IDs in your plan.

What is the difference between the API and manual download?

Both deliver the same ZIP file. The API lets you automate the daily download via a cron job with no need to log in. The client area manual download is always available as a fallback.
